In the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Meursault lies at the foot of the vineyards. Its clay-limestone soils and east-to-south exposure give the wines remarkable balance and elegance.
Les Malpoiriers lies on the plains north of the Meursault appellation. The brown calcareous soils are rich and fertile, producing wines similar in character to those of neighbouring Volnay.
This light, elegant, and fruit-forward wine nevertheless retains good structure.
This wine is best enjoyed with grilled or roasted red meats and pairs perfectly with cooked-pressed cheeses.
