Terroir and location

In the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Meursault lies at the foot of the vineyards. Its clay-limestone soils and east-to-south exposure give the wines remarkable balance and elegance.

The Chevalières climat lies on gentle northern slopes of Meursault, influenced by westerly winds from Auxey-Duresses. Its soil is clay-limestone, enriched with Yonne chalk fragments.

Tasting notes

The geological diversity of the soil promotes the creation of a wine combining minerality with lovely tension. Its structure balances freshness and aromatic complexity, with notes of white flowers and stone fruits.

Our Meursault Les Chevalières pairs perfectly with shellfish and grilled fish. It is also an ideal match for grilled poultry and white meats, while highlighting both the finesse of goat cheese and the intensity of Époisses.
